Commercial air conditioning for salons, offices and kitchens

A salon with hairdryers on all day is a different problem to an estate agent's front office, and both are different to a kitchen pass that dumps heat into the dining room. Occupancy, glass and equipment all change the load, so we survey those before we specify a system.

We've fitted and looked after systems in hair salons, offices, restaurants, cafés, retail and care settings across Torbay and South Devon. The kit has to hold temperature on a normal working day, not only when the room is empty.

If the space is already uncomfortable, a survey will tell you what size and type of system it actually needs, and whether we can fit it around your opening hours.

VRF and multi-split commercial air conditioning

We survey the site ourselves. Floor area, glazing, occupancy and equipment heat all change the number. Hairdryers, ovens, shopfront glass and how many people sit in the room go into that calculation.

The right kit isn't the biggest kit. Undersized can fail early, while oversized units cost you to run and never settle. On larger projects we often bring in extra F-Gas certified hands we've worked with for years, and we stay on site until it's finished.

If the building needs a VRF or a multi-split, that comes out of the survey, not a preference for a brand name.

Commercial air conditioning installation around trading hours

A lot of commercial installs happen early, late or on a closed day. We'd rather plan around your trading hours than shut you for a week. Disruption gets discussed before we start.

You get a written specification and an itemised quotation before work starts. Commissioning documents and refrigerant handling certificates come with the job. Your insurer and health & safety file will ask for them. Extra electrics, unexpected voids or a change of outdoor position can add cost. We flag that at survey, not on an invoice afterwards.

If the building matches the survey, the price holds. Commissioning documents and refrigerant certificates leave with the job.
