Who we are
Fortifyd AC is a sole-trader air conditioning business based in Torbay, South Devon. For privacy questions, email office@fortifyd.co.uk.
This policy covers this website and quote requests sent through it. It is not a generic shop policy — we do not run customer accounts or take card payments on the site.
What we collect
If you use the quote form, we collect the name, email, phone number, town or area, notes you type, the property type and room sizes you select, and the estimate range the form calculates. We use that to email you a copy of the estimate and to get in touch about a site visit.
The form is processed on our behalf by Resend, who send the email. We do not sell this information.
This website
The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel Analytics records anonymous page views (pages visited, approximate location, device type). It is not used to build a profile of you as a person, and it is not mixed with quote-form data.
The coverage map uses Google Maps. If you click to interact with the map, Google may set its own cookies. Until you click, the map does not capture pointer or wheel input.
How long we keep it
Quote enquiries are kept for as long as we need them to complete the job or to answer a follow-up, and then deleted or archived according to normal business record-keeping (invoices and job files may be kept longer where the law expects it).
Analytics data is kept in aggregate on Vercel according to their retention settings.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we do not have a strong reason to keep it. Email us at the address above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you are not satisfied.
